Sami Khalil Jabbour, born in Beirut Lebanon on 6 December 1935, died mercifully quickly at his Arlington, VA home on 27 December 2016.  Holder of a BS in civil engineering from George Washington University (1957) and a Master of Technology from University of New South Wales in Sydney Australia (1964), he thoroughly enjoyed a long, rewarding career on a wide assortment of US and overseas engineering projects.  Survived by his wife, Kristin Armstrong Jabbour, his daughter Gail Jabbour Bailey, and his son Neil Edgar Jabbour.  No flowers please.  A reception for family and friends will be held at a later date."
