Mrs. Chandler was a blessing to anyone who came in contact with her. I met her in 1983, 13 years old recent transplant to NOVA area. The first person I met was Carlos and he invited me to his home. Mrs. Chandler always showed interested in you as if you were her own child. She was kind, compassionate and nurturing. Mrs. Chandler along with Mr. Chandler always made you feel welcome, as if you were in your own home. We seldom take inventory of what might be the last time we see someone. The years have wisked by so quickly, yet the love Mrs. Chandler shown was an investment in my life and I'm certain the lives of many others. You are missed ma'am.

I want to offer my sinserist condolences to the chandler family, this loss has hit me hard as well for many reasons. Mrs. Chandler was a lovely lady and a class act. Thanks for always opening your home to me and making feel like your second son. You will be greatly missed, and I'm so glad I had the pleaseure of knowing you and Mr. Chandler. I take comfort in knowing that you two are together again in heaven. I promise to be there for Your son Carlos, my brother. Rest easy .
