I would like to express my deepest and heartfelt condolences to the family of George Finkel. I am truly sorry for the lost that your family is feeling. When ever we lose such a caring and loving person, it is the hardest experience that any of us can go thru. And because of that my thoughts and prayers are with your family. Take comfort in knowing that God never intent for us to deal with sickness or death. But have assure in the wonderful promise that God holds out to us. He promise each of us that very soon he is going to reunite us back with all those loved ones that we have lost. (John 5:28,29) Until that time, cherish all the wonderful memories that you have of Mr. George. These precious memories will console the family in the day's ahead.

George was the gentleman for all times. Always making the best of any situation and treating all equally. He was a man of many interests that spread far beyond education. He will be missed and it saddens me greatly to hear of his passing.

I was George Finkel's secretary at Smith School for several years. He was an exceptional boss as well as an exceptional man. He had so many interests outside of school and I always enjoyed spending time with him and Hilda. He was always very fair to everyone and was one of the kindest men I have ever known. We have kept in touch over these many years, keeping track of what each of us were doing. My deepest sympathy to Hilda, Susan and Peter. I know it must please you to know how much George was loved and admired .I for one will miss him very much.
