Patricia Ann Dunn

Patricia Ann Dunn of Fairfax County, Virginia passed away on April 29, 2023 at age 86. Patricia was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on August 15, 1936, daughter of Robert and Clara Walsh.  

Patricia worked briefly for “the company” and that is where she met her husband Kenneth Dunn, who was a Marine at the time, both serving overseas.  Patricia was a long-time active volunteer for many years and an avid “Hot-Dice” player (no - nothing to do with gambling but she sure did love to play). 

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband (Kenneth E. Dunn), son (Kenneth A. Dunn), parents (Robert and Clara Walsh), brother (Ronald Walsh) and sisters (Dorothy Womack and Nancy Browne­).

Patricia was survived by her daughters (Cynthia Freeman, Saundra Caporaletti, and Suzanne Dunn), grandchildren (Jeremiah, Christopher, Joshua, Kenneth, Kevin, Jeffrey, Aidan, Avery, and Emily), great-grandchildren (Jackson, Dalton, Taylor, George, Dagny, Charlie, Leah, Kenneth, Jocelyn, and Katheryn), and many nieces and nephews.

Patricia was adopted and at one point took an active interest in genealogy. Later in life she discovered who some of her biological family members were and was given the opportunity to connect with many of them.
