Luis Fernando Badani passed away suddenly at his home in Annandale, VA on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the age of 63. He was a loving and devoted brother, uncle, and boyfriend who was known as “Tio Nano” by all.
Luis Fernando Badani was born on January 8, 1955 in Cochabamba, Bolivia to Luis Badani and Nora Lobo. He immigrated to the United States in 1979 to live with his brother and sister-in-law in Northern Virginia. He worked as an auto technician for Mercedes-Benz of Arlington for 39 years. He loved cycling, the outdoors, photography, good comedies, and spending time with family.
He is survived by his brothers, Ricardo Badani and Jose Badani; sister-in-law Virginia Badani; sisters Hortencia Stump and Zulma Badani Lobo; his nieces and nephews, Leslie Badani, Linette, Omar, and Donovan Castillo, Jessica Stump, and Donald Stump, Jr.; his girlfriend of 20 years Patricia Teran; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins both here in the United States and Bolivia.
Please join us for a memorial service honoring Luis Fernando Badani's life on Monday, August 13 at 10 am at St. Michael Church, 7401 St. Michaels Lane, Annandale, VA 22003. The burial will be held at Pleasant Valley Memorial Park, 8420 Little River Turnpike, Annandale, VA 22003.
