Jean-Marc Denizot

February 20, 1934 ~ February 6, 2023 (age 88) 88 Years Old

Tribute

Jean-Marc Denizot was born in Paris, France. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline, son, David, and two grandkids, Elise and Vincent. He was married for over 50 wonderful years. In addition to his wife, he loved food, which showed in his profession as a chef. Early in his career, he helped open up the restaurant at the Kennedy Center and was their sous chef for a few years before branching out to open his own restaurant, Cafe Tati. When he closed his restaurant, he moved on to be the executive chef at the F Street Club in Washington DC. After nearly two decades catering to politicians and movers and shakers in government, he spent his later years in semi-retirement at Lucks Catering and the French Embassy. He was always jovial, social, and loved people. This is what made him a great chef, a great husband, a great dad, a great papi, and all around great guy. He will be dearly missed.
