Jaime Borda

Jaime Borda was born in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, on December 23, 1931.  A retired lawyer who moved and lived in Virginia since 1983.  Jaime passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, surrounded by his family in Springfield, Virginia.  He was a parishioner of St. Philip Catholic Church and dedicated his life to do God's will. Jaime cared deeply for both his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mery E. Carrazana de Borda. He is survived by his son Jaime Jr. and daughters Katherine, Pilar, and Rocio; daughter-in-law, Monica and sons-in-law Jorge, Alvaro, and Jose; two sisters, Luz and Elsa. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Andrea, Patrick, Gabriel, Pamela, Estefania, Kris, Alejandra, Adam, Diego, Cristina, Sergio, Paola, Vincent, and Leonardo; and great-grandchildren, Valentino, Adriana, Harrison, Aiden, Amaya, Bennett, Noah, Lucy, and Santiago. A visitation service will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Philip Catholic Church, 7500 St. Phillips Court, Falls Church, VA.  In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing in his memory to St. Philip Catholic Church.
