On Wednesday January 11, 2017 at the Methodist Home for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Riverdale, New York, Costas passed away peacefully.  The joyous life of Costas, husband to the departed Mary and father to his only son Demetre Daskalakis will be commemorated at EVERLY COMMUNITY FUNERAL CARE, 6161 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA at 7:30PM on Thursday, February 2nd, with a viewing and prayer service. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 3rd at Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 2315 36th., NW, Washington, DC at 11:00AM.  Interment at National Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, please contribute in his honor to the St. Michael's Home, 3 Lehman Terrace Yonkers NY 10705.
