Alice M. Hill

Alice Mae Hill passed away July 16 in Falls Church, Virginia surrounded by loving family.  

She was born June 25, 1928 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Jack and Rose Parker. Alice grew up in Youngstown and graduated from South High School in 1947. After high school she married Leland Hill of Youngstown. She rose from the sales floor at F. W. Woolworth to become a personnel manager. Long after Woolworth’s closed she took pride in having retired from the company and maintained friendships with the people she worked with. Her greatest pleasure was always found with family. She is survived by two sons Karl L. (Margaret) Hill of Barnstable, Mass., and Captain Paul D. (Martha) Hill USN (Ret) of Falls Church, Va.; grandchildren Rebecca and Ashley Hill (Karl) and David and Michael Hill (Paul) and two great grandchildren. She will be remembered for her love of family, kindness, and friendship.

There will be a memorial service at Sheppard of the Valley in Niles on July 21st at 10:30am.
